Willow tree symbolising growth, healing, and emotional resilience in counselling

Hi, my name is Gen - most people find it easier to use than my full name.

Life can sometimes feel heavy, confusing, or simply too much to carry on your own.

There may be moments when you feel stuck, lost, or unsure which way to turn.

In those times, having someone alongside you can make a real difference, because every journey is a little easier when made alongside a caring and supportive fellow traveller.

I want to offer you a warm, calm and supportive space where you can talk about what is going on for you, at your own pace.

Together, we can gently explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, whether they come from what is happening now or from your past, and begin to make sense of them.

Our work will begin with me listening to what has been going on for you and what has brought you to seek some support. Using the most up-to-date tools and techniques we will, together, formulate a plan for moving forward, and then work through it in a way, and at a pace, that is right for you as an individual.

Kind Words:

Gen was absolutely amazing at listening to me & encouraging me.
I found her very easy to bond with, at the end of my counseling I was amazed at how I felt.
A really positive experience for me that truly changed my life after years of struggling with complex PTSD
I am so very thankful for everything that I have been given the opportunity to learn ,understand why, understand the logic behind the actions and reasonings.
To be able to put my whole life so far into some sort of cared for understood order, and how emotion , places in our time lines affects so many actions and reasons why
To understand grief and the real depths of emotion that is attached to it in so many different facets
I think Gen got to know me well and was able to help facilitate a change in confidence towards aspects of my life that have been especially challenging. I am so grateful for the care and compassion, patience and understanding my counsellor has shown.  I will never be anything but grateful that I was able to have this support. Thank you.
Gen was very helpful and always gave me space to fully express my feelings and feel heard. I didn't really know if anything was "happening" for a while but then suddenly found I had a lot more confidence and was starting to enjoy life a bit more.
Gen was amazing from start to finish. Her support was a major source of stability through a turbulent year.

I can’t thank you enough for your care, compassion and support over the last year.
I was in a very dark place and you listened, asked curious questions and provided fresh perspective on my emotions and feelings.
You also gave me validation, didn’t judge and most importantly never challenged.
I’d come from a life of challenge and whilst coaches, doctors, practitioners, mental health psychologists, psychiatrists and Occupational Health see challenging their patients as a skill, I only see it as a threat.
